Vale Fran Brown

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Fran Brown on Easter Sunday 2009. Fran was one of the 22 masters initiated by Hawayo Takata, and she devoted her life to Reiki. She is greatly respected and loved throughout the Reiki community, and will be missed by everyone who had the honour of knowing her. Her humour and zest for life were amazing and inspiring.

Congratulations to paralympic cyclist and Reiki Australia member, Lindy Hou, on an awesome Beijing campaign. Vision-impaired Lindy, and her pilot, Toireasa Gallagher, stood on the podium twice during these games, claiming a bronze medal in the 1000m time trial and silver in the 3000m pursuit.
